Look at yourself with love…
This was the theme of International Women’s Day — a simple yet powerful activity organised by Fundación Heroínas en la Sombra, the foundation we proudly support in Colombia.
For a moment, each woman paused, stood in front of a mirror, and truly looked at herself — not just as a caregiver, but as a woman who gives so much, often silently and without recognition.
The activity was about gently reminding them of something they so often forget: their worth, their strength, and the love they carry within.
Because behind every caregiver, there is a woman who also needs to be seen, valued and cared for.
